As a Fortune-100 executive distinguished by his record of developing powerful board policies and business strategies, Usman A. Ghani has worked with companies such as McKinsey & Company, Royal Dutch/Shell Group, ExxonMobil Corporation, Renaissance Solutions and Electronic Data Systems (EDS). Utilizing his skills as a management consultant, executive trainer, scholar and author, he consistently applies fresh thinking and refined dynamic business models to reveal the best solutions to complex challenges. Mr. Ghani has held leadership roles in strategic planning, information technology, operations, organizational development and executive education and has led many cross-functional, multicultural and core-business process teams. In addition to being a featured author in The Leader of the Future 2, his work has been highlighted in Soundview Executive Book Summaries and he has authored Dynamic Governance, a business book that takes a holistic approach to the dynamics of corporate governance. Mr. Ghani is currently working on his next book, InteGreat. Mr. Ghani is a visiting professor at the University of Texas at Dallas where he teaches Enterprise Transformation and Strategy in the School of Management. He holds three Masters Degrees from MIT in Business Administration, Management of Technology and Policy Planning (from MIT/Harvard joint program) and is a sponsor of the Harvard Business School Club of Dallas. Additionally, Mr. Ghani trained with Peter Drucker, and will serve as president of the charter Drucker Institute of Texas. A Benjamin Franklin Fellow in Paris in 1990, Mr. Ghani is listed in Who’s Who Worldwide. He enjoys classical music, plays the sitar and is on the Board of the Dallas Bach Society.
